If you’ve ever been to St. Anthony Main to checkout on your way to get a beer tower at Tugg’s or to sit on Pracna’s patio overlooking the river and downtown or catch a movie or for the Stone Arch Festival of the Arts or the 4th of July fireworks show or to catch some crazy art show at the Soap Factory or…well you get my point.  If you’ve down by the river to do any of the numerous things there are to do down there you’ve probably walked right by the Aster Cafe and didn’t pay much attention.  You may have noticed the awesome patio it has, but you probably noticed that inside it was pretty empty and the coffee and food selection wasn’t anything to make you pass up all the other things down on Main St.  Well now you might have a reason to go inside, heck you might have a reason to go down to the Main St. with the Aster Cafe as your destination.  Why?  Cause the new owners have decided to make it sweet aka put in a bar with craft beer, add quality food like pizza and sandwiches and start to book live music.  Yes! We can now add another venue to the local scene that offers a great vibe, a great view and a space just big enough to shoehorn about 80 people into on any given night.  Romantica broke in the Aster Cafe and if you head over to their calendar you’ll see that they have tons of local bands signed up to play.  Not sure about you, but I’m pretty excited about catching a show there.  Any on their list that jump out at you?
